Responsible for new business development across all territories. Direct manager for the outside sales team: training, development and sales goal achievement. Informs business functions of new business opportunities and required materials, equipment and internal resources required to enable success. Works with President to establish annual sales goals for new business and strategic accounts.
Responsibilities:
· Develop strategic new customer accounts aligned with target markets per Lehigh Valley Plastic’s strategic plan.
· Achieve annual new business budget. · Responsible for sales growth and account management at select strategic accounts. · In conjunction with the president and management, develop an annual sales plan. Set new business and strategic growth account sales budgets and identify the tools necessary to achieve those budgets. · Advise salespeople in developing appropriate prospect lists supporting sales targets. · Attend visits at key inside sales accounts for strategic new sales opportunities. · Work with key suppliers to develop national opportunities for prospects; assign prospects to team members based on territory and/or market. · In conjunction with the inside sales manager and operations manager, review the profitability of new customers to ensure that margins are optimal. · Run sales update meeting monthly, reporting out to all business functions upcoming opportunities and resource needs to support successful activities. · Maintain and leverage CRM. |
Lehigh Valley Plastics, a state of the art plastics fabrication company, is currently seeking Machinists to set up and operate computerized numerical control machines to cut, shape, or form plastics and composites to order specifications.
Responsibilities:
· Reads and understands setup sheet, specifications and drawings to determine setup procedures, machining sequence and dimensions of finished work piece.
· Attaches fixtures to machine and position and secures work piece in fixture according to setup instructions.
· Selects and installs proper cutting tools.
· Loads programs in machine control unit or enters commands to retrieve machine instructions from database.
· Manipulates controls and enters commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine.
· Observes and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
· Changes cutting tools and location of work piece during machining process as specified in instructions.
· Measures and inspects first work piece for conformance to specifications and quality standards. Continues to monitor quality using AQL procedures and methods.
· Maintains accurate counts and follows bar code and paperwork flow procedures.
· Notifies supervision of discrepancies.
· Adjusts machine feed and speed, and changes cutters to machine parts according to specifications when needed.
Knowledge of machine operation, quality inspection process and safety standards preferred.
PRIMARY FUNCTION |
Utilizes a full range of precision tools and special purpose instrumentation such as dial indicators, optical comparators, and CMMs to measure dimensions where tolerances are often exacting and parts are intricate in nature. Perform complex calculations to determine angles, tolerances, and other specified measurements. Audits, records, and reports product and process conformance and trends. |

Oversees the tool room area with responsibility for maintaining, receiving and storing tools associated with production equipment. |

PRIMARY FUNCTION |
Responsible for managing company’s major accounts playing a liaison role between the customer and the manufacturing operation, QC and Accounting. Responsible for hitting or exceeding sales budget for customer territory. Works with estimating resources, provides margin targets; gets quote feedback and updates quotes with win/loss. Monitors customer margins monthly and takes appropriate action to maintain desired levels. |
